a woman named Sophie recently lost her husband in a fire and is now a single mother looking after her son, her finances are getting worse due to rent and her son's daycare. But one day, her son, Finley, was abducted by an unknown entity, and since Sophie saw the event take place, she is also taken away. Later she wakes up in a strange house with an injured leg, and there is also a supernatural being only known as 'the guardian' roaming around, it is up to Sophie to escape and get her son back before something bad happens to him...
